June 28 Outreach
Today was overflowing with grace and compassion at the Green Carpet. We served a hearty chicken dinner with homemade desserts and sides—love was baked into every bite. Clothing, hygiene kits, shoes, tarps, and even dog food were shared with our friends in need.
One moment stood still in our hearts: a young boy arrived barefoot, and when we had no shoes in his size, a volunteer quietly stepped away and returned with a brand-new pair—purchased out of his own pocket. That’s the gospel in motion.
And after three years of gentle conversations and prayers, a dear friend allowed us to pray for her—and gave her life to Christ. For three years, she hesitated… but today, her eternity changed. We give all the glory to God.
The Word Today: We reflected on the thief on the cross—he could do nothing more than believe… and Jesus met him with a promise: “Today you will be with me in Paradise.” It was a holy reminder that it all starts with belief—and grows from there.
We welcomed many Muslim friends today and were honored to answer heartfelt questions about our faith. Seeds were planted, love was extended, and Christ was glorified.
A Turning Page: The 12th will be our final outreach at the Green Carpet. This sacred ground has been home to countless moments of grace. Though our friends are being moved, we trust God is moving with them.
To mark this transition, we’ll gather for a cookout and baptisms on the 12th—celebrating all God has done and all He is about to do. We’re not just closing a chapter… we’re stepping into the next one.
